Adele Sypesteyn
Adele Sypesteyn is a New Orleans born artist whose architecturally influenced work is distinguished by multiple layers of texture, color and pattern. Sections of aged and decrepit walls, floors and other features of both the inside and outside of buildings, are the basis of her inspiration. Repetition of forms and random markings evoke a feeling of time gone by, and the weathering of lived in spaces.
